Holiday Inn Express & Suites Benson by IHG

Beautiful new location right off 95! Rooms were great! Service was super friendly, they had a red wagon full of toys upon check in and gave my daughter a welcome toy! Breakfast was delicious! Check out was a breeze! Will be our new mid way stop home from Florida!

This is a brand new hotel. As of May 2025 Apple Maps doesn’t even have pictures on their maps yet. I mean it’s brand new, what’s not to like? Hotel was super clean. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. Some hotel breakfasts taste like they were warmed over from the day before. While this hotels breakfast might be the normal fare, it all tasted fresh. Staff were all extremely friendly. Would gladly stay here again.

This place was clean, new, and very well kept! The staff were super friendly and welcoming. We booked last minute, and they even offered us soup when we arrived late one evening — such a nice touch. Breakfast was good each morning, and the beds were really comfortable. I loved that they had both firm and soft pillows, clearly labeled on the pillowcases for preference. The rooms were quiet, and we couldn’t hear much outside noise at all. They also had plenty of parking, even for large vehicles, buses, and trailers. The amenities were great, and I really appreciated that they use Dove soap, body wash, and shampoo/conditioner — not the stuff that dries out your skin and hair! My son loved swimming in the pool. Overall, this has been the best place we’ve stayed so far. They even have coffee, hot water, and cocoa available at all times. Highly recommend!

Driving from FL to New England and after 12 hours of driving needed a place to stay and rest. This Holiday Inn is perfect. It’s like a small boutique hotel. Clean and new. Staff excellent customer service and very friendly. Rooms are clean, and well appointed. Breakfast was good. If you are driving 95 and need a place DO NOT HESITATE. Awesome

They are across the street from the Hampton Inn. The service was night and day from the other hotel. We greeted with smiles. The desk clerks were so nice and helpful. The room very clean. We would definitely stay here again. I want to say thank you to Christy and other young lady at the desk. We were stressed from the long drive in bad weather. They put our minds at ease.

Beautiful hotel. Great price for my small family. They deserve 10 stars. The receptionist that helped us check in (Thereasa) was simply on point. Phone my phone call ahead to actual checking in, she delivered exceptional service. I wish I could have left her a tip. She was so generous towards my son and handled the desk with grace and dignity. The rooms were very clean and the ac was up to temp within seconds. I love the Dove soaps they offer and the pillows on the beds were just right, one soft and then one more firm. The lobby area was spotless, the janitors are on point and pristine with upkeeping the areas. They even refilled the strawberry infused water when it got low. Breakfast was amazing as well and wven the receptionist in the morning was kind and helpful. They have a nice patio (see pictures) and they even had truck and trailer parking spots! Top notch, my husband was extremely happy about that!

Wow we didn’t expect to be so happy with our stay here! The place was super clean and well cared for. The breakfast was great with so many choices. Also the bed and pillows were very clean. Can’t beat this place for value and quality!

Nicest hotel in its class on I95, from upstate South Carolina to Rocky Mount. The hotel is new and well maintained. Most hotels in the region in the price range are rundown and have lackluster management. Not this hotel. I checked about 10 others and this is the best.

We were absolutely blown away by our stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Benson, NC! The entire property is gorgeous—beautifully designed, sparkling clean, and impressively modern from top to bottom. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to make guests feel comfortable and welcome. One of the unexpected perks? They have slow Tesla chargers on-site, and they’re conveniently located right next to a Tesla Supercharger station—so whether you need a quick top-up or an overnight charge, you’re completely covered. Major bonus for EV travelers! What really made our stay exceptional, though, was the incredible woman who checked us in. She was so kind, welcoming, and thorough—she made sure we had everything we needed to know about the hotel and local area, with a warm smile and genuine hospitality. Her care set the tone for the entire experience. I must say I’m excited for breakfast tomorrow!
